Meet Our Team
Christine Traynor, CRA, P.App.
Christine’s passion for real estate formed early in her career. In 2002, she began working as a residential appraiser in the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver Metropolitan areas followed by a two-year period working throughout the Whistler region, before relocating to Victoria in 2006. In September 2009, Christine achieved her CRA designation through the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC).
With fifteen years’ experience in real estate, including 12 years working as an appraiser and three in new development marketing and sales, Christine brings perspective and experience like no one else in the region. When she’s not focused on real estate, Christine enjoys keeping active in the outdoors including running, paddleboarding and hiking.
Robin Burrell, BA, AACI, P. App
Robin’s experience in appraisals transcends more than four decades. His career began with the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), followed by three years with the Department of National Revenue, before joining West Coast Savings Credit Union (Coast Capital Savings) in 1981. In 2004, Robin left Coast Capital to set up Coast Appraisals as an independent local real estate appraisal company. When Robin’s not actively appraising, you’re likely to find him playing “old timer’s” soccer with Bays United, on the golf course or enjoying a Guinness and music in the Quays Pub in Galway, Ireland.
Heidi Scheper, AACI, P.App.
A 25-year member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, Heidi brings extensive appraisal experience from her work both with private companies and crown corporations/government; through her career, Heidi has developed broad based experience in a variety of areas, including valuation, analysis and consultation of residential, commercial, industrial, development and acreage properties along with special use properties. Heidi grew up in the Netherlands, where she was a competitive speed skater. When she’s not appraising, you can most likely find Heidi outdoors; skiing, hiking, or (occasionally) wielding a golf club. Heidi’s other hobbies include singing and knitting.
Madonna Blunt, CRA, P.App.
Madonna has worked in the real estate industry since 2006, working in both project and property management capacities. Prior to joining Coast Appraisals in 2014, Madonna worked as a development coordinator for Vancity Credit Union.
